Frequently Asked Questions

Do you support virtual talks?

Yes! We are able to support virtual talks via Zoom. You should receive details from the Programme/Workshop Organisers.

What is the maximum capacity of your seminar rooms?

Seminar Room 1 has a maximum capacity of 120 people. Overflow rooms are available for special occasions.

Seminar Room 2 has a maximum capacity of 42 people.

Will my talk be broadcasted/recorded?

As a speaker of a talk, you are automatically opted in to allow broadcasting and recording of your talk.
You can opt-out of this by changing the AV Broadcasting Permission within ISAAC, or by speaking to a member of our Audio Visual Team.

When will my talk be uploaded to the video archive?

Our Team of Editors should have your talk edited and uploaded within 3-5 days of the event.

For particularly busy times, this may be 5-7 days.

Do I need to bring my own device to present my talk?

Ideally, yes. It is preferred that the speaker presents on a device of their own.

However, we are able to present on our own hardware if we are aware in advance.
